IWise Insurance is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data, and to meeting its data protection obligations under all applicable laws and regulations. Information that IWise Insurance may collect from you as part of the recruitment process includes:

• your name, address, and contact details, including email address and telephone number;
• your resume and work history, including details of your qualifications, skills, and experience;
• certain financial information, including your current level of compensation, including any benefits;
• information about your training, education, certifications, and licenses;
• information about your right to work in a specific country, including your passport, work permit, visas, drivers license, date of birth, and social security number;

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to IWise Insurance during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly, or at all.

Sharing Your Information

The personal information you provide to IWise Insurance will be shared, consistent with applicable law, as follows:

• With affiliates and subsidiaries of iWise Insurance
• With third parties and third-party business providers that provide services to IWise Insurance, such as companies that provide services for employee recruitment;
• With a third party in the event of a sale, merger, reorganization, or other transaction involving part or all of IWise Insurance;

• As needed to support our recruitment process:
  • Your information may be shared internally with members of the Human Resources recruitment team, legal advisors, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, and IT staff, if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.
  • IWise Insurance uses certain software platforms to collect, retain, and manage data collected from applicants and employees. The software providers may have access to your information.
  • We may also share your information with certain trusted third parties, including taxing authorities, background check and drug testing providers, benefit plan providers, and legal advisors, as required or permitted by law.

Protection Of Your Data

IWise Insurancet akes the protection of your personal data seriously. Although there is no such thing as “perfect security” on the Internet, IWise Insurance maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Retention Of Your Data

IWise Insurance retains your personal data only as long as it is needed for business talent purposes in accordance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and in accordance with IWise Insurance records retention schedules.

IWise Insurance retains data you provide for recruitment as follows:

• If your application for employment is unsuccessful, IWise Insurance will hold your data on file for 3 (three) years after the end of the relevant recruitment process. If you agree to allow us to keep your personal data on file, we will hold your data on file for a further 3 (three) years for consideration for future employment opportunities. At the end of that period, your data is deleted or      destroyed. You will be asked for this consent when you submit your CV for      consideration.
• If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your employee file (electronic and paper-based) and retained by Human Resources during your employment. The periods for which your data will be held will be provided to you in a new privacy notice.

Cross-Border Transfer Of Information

IWise Insurance generally maintains servers and systems in the United States hosted by third-party service providers. We also may subcontract the processing of your data to, or otherwise share your data with, other third parties in the United States or countries other than your country of residence. As a result, where the personal information that we collect through or in connection with the Website is transferred to and processed in the United States or anywhere else outside the European Economic Area (EEA) for the purposes described above, we will take steps to ensure that the information receives the same level of protection as if it remained within the EEA, including entering into data transfer agreements, using the EU Commission approved Standard Contractual Clauses, and by any other means required or suggested by the GDPR.

We may not always be able to fully address your request, for example if it would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others, or if we are legally entitled to deal with the request in a different way.

Response Timing and Format:

We endeavor to acknowledge a verifiable request with thirty (30) days of its receipt and will respond to each request without undue delay.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable request unless it is excessive or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
